What you get

Venture Clienting

Value Proposition

We help you solve business challenges by connecting you with vetted startups and adapting their solutions to your specific needs. Through our Venture Clienting process, we support you from identifying needs and evaluating options to running pilots and scaling solutions that work in your organization. As a spin-out of Combient, Combient Foundry offers venture client services to Associated Companies and beyond, having expanded internationally with offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Munich, and Silicon Valley.

Venture Clienting

Key Benefits

  • Get to impact faster — Use market-ready technology to cut development and deployment time by seven months on average compared with building in-house or buying from incumbent vendors.
  • A repeatable capability that stays with you —Every project builds the team, processes, and internal network to do this across your business.
  • Build on what others already know — Reuse solutions and lessons already tested by peers, founders and technology leaders.

How it Works

We support you on three levels.

  • Project level — prioritize your needs, benchmark solutions globally, reach a pilot decision in 90 days, and take the strongest through pilots to adoption and measured impact.
  • Company level — build strategy, organization, processes, KPIs, and internal network to make this repeatable.
  • Alliance level — share what has worked and meet peers, founders, and experts.

Strategic Impact

Knowing which technologies exist and where they are heading is only the start.

The harder questions are where external technology can create a real advantage, which solutions are worth pursuing, and how to get them evaluated, bought, piloted, and adopted inside a large organization.

As more breakthrough technology is built outside established companies, moving faster also means avoiding the time and cost of rebuilding solutions that already exist.

Ways to engage

Venture Client Alliance

Move faster by building on what others already know. The Alliance connects venture client practitioners and executives across industrial companies. Members share what they are evaluating, piloting, and adopting, compare approaches, and reuse solutions and lessons already proven by peers. Weekly sessions with technology companies, founders, investors, and other experts add an outside view on where technology is moving. No company needs to discover, evaluate, and learn everything from scratch.

Venture Client Operations

End-to-end support from business need to adoption. We work with your business, R&D, and functional teams to prioritize needs where external technology can create value, benchmark startups and scaleups globally, evaluate the strongest candidates, secure the internal owners and decisions each pilot needs, and take what works through structured pilots into adoption. The objective is measurable results: lower cost and risk, new revenue, or products and processes that are faster, cheaper, better, or safer.

Foundry Lens

Understand your Venture Clienting activity and the technology landscapes around your most important business needs. Foundry Lens maps emerging categories and funding activity, searches and ranks startups and scaleups globally, and shows which solutions peers have already evaluated or proven, helping your teams spot the next opportunities worth acting on.

Industrial Future Summit

Combient Foundry's flagship event, bringing together 600+ participants from industrial companies, startups, scaleups and investors around AI, automation and sustainability in industry. A place to see proven solutions in real industrial use, hear what peer companies are already doing, and meet the founders and investors behind them.

We knew external solution providers had incredible potential, but before joining Combient Foundry, we lacked an efficient way to tap into it.
