The value of a network becomes clearest when a simple conversation turns into action.
At the last Combient Conference hosted by Electrolux, people from Wärtsilä and Scania discussed AI, automation, and how to translate growing interest into business impact over lunch.
The conversation could have ended there. Instead, it continued. In the weeks and months that followed, the two companies held a series of exchanges and realized that, despite different tools and ways of working, they were exploring closely related challenges.
That eventually led Scania to join Wärtsilä’s Agentic Automation Summer Bootcamp in Vaasa, Finland. For Wärtsilä, it was the first time an external company had joined the format. For Scania, it was a chance to explore an idea in a focused setting. For Combient, it’s a concrete example of what the network can enable when the right people, trust, and timing come together.
